Trying to Date Queens Regiment Collar Badge
I believe this bullion wire work badge is a Collar Badge for the Queens Regiment and am trying to pin down a date frame for its wear.
I have looked at various Albums with out success but this could be my Internet Skills letting me down! The badge measures 35 mm approximately overall at its widest point. Any pointers as to date of wear would be much appreciated. Regards Simon. |

Bullion badges of the Lamb and Flag were used on roll collar mess jackets in facing pairs and singly on the forage caps of officers and warrant officers (the latter until 1902). Metal (gilt) collar badges were used instead on full dress.
