Default Glenwood School Band cadet badges.

For those who collect Cadet insignia, here is a nice one:

School Cadet band from Glenwood High school in the 1970's wearing their parent/affiliated South African Defence Force units insignia. In this case Natal Mounted Rifles cap badges with green felt backing, as worn by the unit itself. Glenwood High School has had ties to Natal Mounted Rifles for many years and as far as I can work out it, it dates back to WW2 and possibly before.

Also note the SA Cadets orange cloth diamond shaped badge on chest of the middle cadet.

Found this picture on Face Book.... sometimes you can get some informative info from this source!

Just happens to be my old school .......
