Default Staffordshire A/A

Can anybody explain to me what this is all about? I've got a whole box of them here (actually, I haven't. But I wish I had). http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Staffordsh...vip=true&rt=nc

The Holland cloth & uncommon maker mark might have jacked up the price?

Rgds, Thomas.

Possibly but to £50 is nuts. The makers mark is a recent one so shouldnt be that rare .

Got a pair of Staffs collar dogs acquired in 1979 from 1 Staffs stores at Ebrington Barracks, got brown paper envelope backings - must be worth a bit then.

Funny that, I got the same badges (and a cap badge) from the same place not much later. So, sorry Leigh, there are two out there, so I've reduced the value of yours

Ahhh hot diggity darn... you trump me with your rarity value.. I shall inform the museum accordingly! (Faint sounds in the background of fret sawing off a slider, followed the gloop, gloop of superglue to fix a hairclip...)

I'm still banjaxed as to why someone paid over 40 quid for that badge...
