Default US LEGION OF MERIT

I swapped this for the lowest currant UK bank note, I just thought it was interesting and in just a couple of pieces of paper shows that not everyone can be a well known for being a war hero in famous actions but just some desk bound pen pusher, but his job must have been just as important or more behind the scenes.
