Default Current Logistic Corps Collars Unfaced

Picked these up a few days ago. Fitted with clutch pins, but not sure if officer's, or's or all ranks. Regardless, I was interested to see that the field pieces on the Board of Ordnance shield are 'stylised' (I think that's putting it kindly) and, not being real guns, are not therefore faced. I assume as a cost cutting exercise. I think I'm right in saying, this means Ordnance collars are now not faced for the first time in best part of 120 years? All the best, Mike
