Anyone tell me if loops would be correct on a brass YCV cap badge?, i`ve searched the Forum and they all seem to have sliders.

I am no expert on this badge,but I have not seen any of these cap badges with loops before not even the notorious reproduction die. John |

And with an answer like the one he gave to the guy asking for a clear close up photo, I wouldn’t even bother with it or the seller. I am often amazed with the ego/attitude problems some of these ebay sellers have.

I wouldn't take any YCV badge sold on ebay seriously. There are just too many fakes / repros being sold there. It is a very rare badge, which has been faked to death, and probably the only way to get a good one is to go to somewhere like Bosley's and pay lots of money for it.
