Anyone tell me if loops would be correct on a brass YCV cap badge?, i`ve searched the Forum and they all seem to have sliders.
Bill.

Mark

I am no expert on this badge, but I have not seen any of these cap badges with loops before not even the notorious reproduction die.

And with an answer like the one he gave to the guy asking for a clear close up photo, I wouldn’t even bother with it or the seller. I am often amazed with the ego/attitude problems some of these ebay sellers have.

The vendor was much more polite when it came to a question about the Harley Davidson motorbike he is selling.

I wouldn't take any YCV badge sold on ebay seriously. There are just too many fakes / repros being sold there. It is a very rare badge, which has been faked to death, and probably the only way to get a good one is to go to somewhere like Bosley's and pay lots of money for it.
