More etc.
RH - Royal Hussars (10th) ; CMP - Corps of Military Police ; CG - Coldstream Guards (part of title only) ; HG - Home Guard (WW2) ; Numerals and 'Y' used in a variety of ways with other title parts. The others I suspect are Australian. Regards. David

By the way David, from a 'colonial" it is the Japanese word SEPPUKU that you should be using and not sepuch(?).
Best regards-in the best possible taste-Jo

More shoulder titles etc.
Hello to the colonies - Hello Big 'V' - I wasn't aware that there was a direct translation from Japanese to English. Presumably, it is from the direct translation from Japanese to Canadian ? Keeping up the 'best possible taste'. Regards. David

The CG - Coldstream Guards shoulder title is very interesting...looks to be in nickel plate? Can anyone tell me when ot where this shoulder title was worn? The brass backing looks to be something Ive seen on WW1 shoulder titles?

Spencer,
May I suggest you place the "I" in front of the "Y" and the "1" in front of the "4". that will give you a set of "IY" for Imperial Yeomanry and a "14" . Regards, Michael

Did the Home Guard have brass shoulder titles? I thought that, by 1940, most units had adopted cloth titles?
