Default Scottish Plaid Brooch

Hi Kevin, Queens Own Highlanders post 1961 Plaid Brooch. one sold in Bosleys 4th July 2018, item 126 estimate £50-£80. sold £85. the number on the rear is the issue number. regards John

Leigh and John,

Thanks for the info and a closer inspection revealed the name "Lovatt" scratched on the rear. Clearly not the Lord but possibly a bandsman in The Queens Own Highlanders, more research required.
