Default WW2 SAAF Sweetheart Brooch

I was given this brooch and embroider cloth (Not sure what the cloth was used for) by a lady I work with, as well as some photos of North Africa. It seems that the brooch was carved out of bone and I thought it an interesting article to have. Thought I would share it.

Regards
Jacques

Hi, late reply I know.
The cloth is a handkerchief. Not so popular now, but widely used 'back in the day'. There are many of them about featuring badges of different regiments/arms of service - it was a nice memento to send back to mother or a girlfriend. Same goes for the brooch, if it was hand made then all the more personal.
Regards, Craig
