Home Guard Stratford and Shipton areas
Hi a colleague at work asked if I know about above Home Guard, Stratford and Shipton, which I don't, where woild he source information on these?
His Family had members serving and he is trying to obtain photo's which I will post if and when ge gets them, there may be another region he is after also ?? All the best billy

Billy,
I'm from Moreton in Marsh, just across the county border, but the next town on the Fosseway to Shipston on Stour which is in Warks. The 2nd Gloucestershire HG Bn HQ was at Chipping Campden and covered that area. I have documents and photos so please feel free to give your friend my email address and maybe I can help.
