Help with these please.
Sunday afternoon and nowt to do so I thought I'd ask the cognosenti here to give me some help with these badges. The obvious ones I've marked F or left unnumbered but I feel that there are some dubious ones lurking on the board. Any help in identifying these would be most gratifying. Many Thanks Terry

Most of the cap badges are modern fakes just like the frame you have for sale on eBay.

You think all of those are fakes? I put them there as I wasn't sure they'd be accepted here. I did, however, say that I wasn't sure of their originality.

There must surely be one or two good ones there?

Is there anything obvious with Buffs, R Berks and Kings Own badges to spot from the front to indicate good or bad- I would think these might be OK at a front glance though the R Berks is very fresh looking. We tend to learn more about a scarce badge to identify it but all GM regular infantry are tough ones. Regards, Paul. PS Berks Yeo might be ok if it does not have a Gaunt mark- though the slider look like it may be a fake type if i'm looking at the correct one. I probably would not risk it.

The collar badges and Belgian Lions look to be alright.

Thanks, I thought it'd be one of the three but wasn't sure
(I have a relative whose Italian grandfather was an Alpini, captured in N Africa - mountain troops sent to the desert.......) |

The "Duke's" collar badges look good. There are several others, particularly some of the Queen's that look ok as well, but can't be sure without closeup pics as mentioned previously.
