Default Queensland Teachers Volunteer Corps (QTVC)

Hi Guys,

I came across this picture on the AWM website. It's a pre federation unit I've ever heard of before.

Lieutenant (Lt) Thomas Benjamin Ferguson wearing the uniform of the Queensland Teachers Volunteer Corps (QTVC). Lt Ferguson was appointed acting Lt in the Volunteer Branch of the Queensland Defence Force in January 1892, and in February 1893 he was appointed a Lt in the newly formed QTCV. Between 1893 and 1896 he was placed on the unattached list, and from November 1896 he became active and was posted to D Company, QTVC.

Does anyone know what their hat badge looks like?
