Custodian of a Collection

When my granddad passed, 55 years ago, I became the custodian of 85 WW1 badges. My great-granddad had collected these badges during his service with the Canadian military. I have many interests but military badges is not one of them, therefore I must cultivate an interest or relinquish my role as custodian. My current tendency is toward the latter. I am new to this forum, any advice offered is appreciated. Portion of the collection pictured.

From what you have shown they are genuine badges (cant be too careful these days as lots of fakes about)

the badges you show are mostly WW1 but some later.

They are what I would call 'run of the mill' badges, thats not to put them down but to say they are not rare types.

They appear to be British rather than Canadian but selling to the UK now has become financially disadvantaged due to import fees.

You will get lots of offers on here by people wanting to buy them all, but as ever its down to price.

Thank you very much "manchesters", now I know 100% more about the collection than I did yesterday. My great granddad was quite the scoundrel, who abandoned his wife and his two young sons here in New Hampshire USA and joined the war effort through Canada...perhaps more of the story later.
