Help with Royal Anglian cloth badge please

I've had this badge a while, it measures 4.5 cm across.
What was it for?

hi Sean, nice badge, more commonly found on just a purple background, not green as well. I have always thought, because of the silver thread on mine , that this badge is on the fringes of military use, ie tracksuit or cadets.

As it is different to the one I have, please let me know if you are selling it, thanks Andrew.

Thanks Andrew I seem to recall it being described as a rejected arm badge but not sure as it was about 10 or 15 years ago.

hi sean, you could be right, and maybe a more upmarket one was use on sports wear, making it a bit more common to find.
