Default Help needed if possible please

Hi all, sadly at the age of 51, my brother in law has passed away. He served in the Royal Navy, and we would like to include so information about this at his funeral in 10 days time.
Born 17/6/69 Adrian j walker
Join navy in 1986 as a marine engineer and served for seven years, served in the gulf on H.M.S. Edinburgh, and has the gulf medal

Is there anyway a service record or number can be found.
Thanks andrew

Andrew,
The veterans agency, see link below is the right place to ask but with Covid they are slower than normal, email link below

https://www.gov.uk/government/collec...vice-personnel

The other place is the Royal Naval Association, who should be able to assist, you can get them via

https://royal-naval-association.co.uk/contact-us/

Yours
John
