Cool 16th Foot Glengarry

Well the seller had several PT glengarries for sale all at a reasonable price for originals, but no bidders . . !

That one I linked to has 'copy' stamped on the back. Takes an eagle eye but I'm certain it is there. Never seen that before.

So it does. Not seen that before either. They even bothered to fit brass-like loops.

Smile 20th Foot Glengarry

This badge also looks to have the word "copy" stamped on the "2". The other badges for sale don't seem to have any such stamps.

Well spotted.
Wonder who was/is making them? Must have a conscience.

Cool Fake Glengarry badges

I wonder whether these badges with the word "FAKE" stamped on the reverse were made for military museums to sell in their shops.
