Canadian Parachute Corps WW II Lot EBay
Not my area of collecting or expertise, but I thought I would post it for anyone who might be interested. I am not affiliated with the seller, or trying to push the lot.

Did someone here win this? I could be interested in the VRC wedge cap.

Hello Clive,
I have not even received the group yet! Even though this fellow is not listed on the 1st Can Para list, I plan to do a little more research to see what I can find. If things come up unconfirmed, then I may split that item off, and if so, I will be in touch. Thanks for asking. Cheers

I'm glad it found a good home. when I first saw it there were no bids, and I was not sure on it's authenticity.

1st Can Para Lot
Coogan,
The vendor stated in their Ebay listing that the items came from a James Moneypenny. There is a J. Moneypenny listed in on the 1CPB nominal list in "Out of the Clouds". He graduated from Shilo on September 6th, 1944. Oddly he is listed as a private so it will require further research. |
