Default Plastic APTC

Is it normal for this badge to have a slider? most "plastic" badges appear to have flat blades. Rob.

Well I have not managed to see one of these, as it is rarer than the RA gun badge (metal slider), but I would think it would be hard to fit blades to such a shape. I would have snapped it up even if it did not have the slider. The A.T.S., badge has a plastic slider.

Rob,
just like the one in my APTS/C Album, quite a scarce item and worth in the region of £100+

Only 3,830 made, by comparison 29,232 RA gun badges were made. I believe the rarest plastic badge to be the Army Education Corps with only 900 made.

Are you sure about the slider? I thought it had 3 blades.

The plastic RA gun was made with a slider rather than the usual blades..

Hang on, what is this badge then? I lost the picture of the front when my pc crashed but I strongly believe it to be the RA gun.

Definately Royal malta as the cross points are distinctive.
