Quite a few names from the past have been mentioned here recently? I wonder if anyone remembers Roy Dupuy from Mess Dress in the USA.

A real character.

Peter,

Never bought anything from him but always remember the hand drawn advert in Magazines of the time!

Simon.

simon,
I bought Lt.Colonel McClelland’s Liverpool Irish service dress tunic from Roy and a few years later I corresponded with the Colonel and whilst he remembered giving his uniforms to a friend of his son, he was most surprised that one had ended up in the States. I am pretty sure that was the only thing I ever bought from him.

I remember Roy back in Centerville Mass. Used to deal with him frequently years ago. He was a quite a character. Became somewhat confused and difficult in his last years.
