Yes it is and many thanks Paul for showing it , I am always interested in looking at the details of different die patterns for this badge.

What's the "RR Lancer", anybody?
I was going to say something snarky about L1000 collections pinned to old shirt cardboards - I'm always amazed by how many collectors do that and never see it as incongruous - until I read the 'period paper' bit. That's cool! And, I'd say, puts paid to suggestions that any on these beauties are not proper and period. Well done, that man! Peter |

They are both excellent badges. They have not oxidised at all.

Paul - If it's not too much trouble I'd be grateful for a look at the RMLI front and back.

Whilst most of the badges are indeed WW1 or earlier, I notice that the Royal Norfolk's cap badge on the 4th photo is the post 1935 pattern - or am I missing something here ?

No problems at all. They all have to come off. Attached the pictures of the RMLI. KR Paul. |

It's a variation but not the 1935 cap badge design. The Trident is much shorter than the sealed pattern and there are other differences.

It looks like it, but intriguingly I do not think it is the same design as the post 1937 Norfolk Regt badge, it is bigger. The lady is the same design as the wreathed WW1 Norfolk Regt badge. Please see attached pictures. Views on this would be most welcome Many Thanks Paul |
