Default More Colonial Cap Badges

Hello,

Thanks for the responses to my previous thread. I have some more badges here that I would like some help with identifying.

Picture quality isn't brilliant, my camera is getting a bit outdated now.

1) scroll at the bottom reads "imperium et libertas". the flags appear to be the royal standard (left) and the union flag (right)

2) the scroll at the bottom reads as "Border light horse". Anyone know where they are from?

3) is 2 crossed swords with 25 in the centre.

4) scroll at the bottom reads "k.e.o cavalry"

5) has writing round the centre which is possibly arabic, or sikh/urdu/etc.

Hi,
Interesting lot. I believe the crossed flags badge is South African, 5th Mounted Rifles.
Cheers, Tinto

Guys, thanks for al the responses.

I have a final batch of badges I would like some help with, which I will post later today once I have taken the photos. Might have to do them in 2 batches, as I seem to only be able to attach 6 pictures to a single post.

No. 5 is Indian State Forces - I have one somewhere and if I find it I'll read the label!
