Default Pow Art
Just acquired a nice carved box done by a POW located at NEYS camp in northern Ontario. One of the carvings is of the barracks at BOWMANVILLE camp, and one is of viking ships denoting he was of the high seas fleet. Might be a neat thread if anyone else has any known POW art items from CANADA.

There are interesting items, I've seen a few in my travels but never acquired any...

Would the Viking Ship not suggest an auxiliary cruiser vs high seas? Aux Cruiser badge is my fave WWII war badge, incidentally...should never have sold them off

YUP auxiliary cruiser it is with my 3RD REICH collection should know better.
Am hoping there is a chance of naming the maker and maybe some more info will follow through channels from this artifact.
