#2
No 2 is the cap badge of the 50th Gordon Highlanders, 1913-1920. They were located in Victoria, BC and amalgamated in 1920 with the 88th Victoria Fusiliers to form The Canadian Scottish Regiment.

I suggest you do something about the verdigris if you haven't already done so. Great collection BTW.

Most have had a dip in acid. Just a level of concern knowing next to nothing about preservation. I have cleaned up a few badges using cotton swabs dipped in vinegar to dab slowly with great success - just time consuming. I've been thinking about making the time to clean them completely lately as I don't have kids yet and it's either now or when I'm retired in 40 years..

I have had a few badges with bad verdigris and have just soaked them overninght in Ketchup and just washed them off in the morning with a tooth brush and it works just great..... No damage to the badges.....
