I have been looking at cadet corps recently and it is quite surprisingly just how many CLB, BB and JLB cadets units became part of the Cadet Corps and adopted khaki uniforms.

The CLB adopted the KRRC CLB badge en masse. This is the badge falsely attributed the 16th KRRC BN and does explain why it is a relatively common cap badge.

The badge combination seen in the photo is a perfect fir for the BB.

I forgot to add that this was relatively late on in the war from 1917-18 which gives you a good date for the photo.

Alan, the BB (East Ham Cadets) unit was disbanded in 1913 so that date would seem more likely.
