Default Badge cleaning

Just wondered what is the recommended thing to do, when you have an old badge covered in grundge , is it best to leave it or to lightly clean it etc

But seriously at the end of the day ( in my opinion ) it comes down to personal preferences.

Perhaps we should do what I suggested a while ago, is to have a FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section to the Forum where this, and other issues, could be dealt with.
