Default Royal Canadian Navy Chaplain's button design

On page 82 of his book "Buttons of the Canadian Militia, etc." Eric Smylie has a Royal Canadian Navy Chaplain's button. The design was used 1910-1964.
Is this correct?
I have always presumed that the design belonged to the Polish navy.

'llo

the design of the cross behind the anchor is with no doubt of polish pattern !

see the references :
- Rosignoli ' Naval and Marine badges and insignia ' - 1st polish navy plate (no 59) motif on belt buckle
- J.Wasiewski ' Ocalone od Zapomnienia ' picture ref.54

pics repro if needed ...

I cannot say its Polish as I dont know, but I do know its definitely not an RCN Chaplain's button, as such a button did not exist to the best of my knowledge.

RCN Chaplains were Officers & like all other RCN Officers wore the Officers gilt button with CANADA across the anchor.

Thank you both,
It is now clear that the button is a Polish Navy button.
The entry in Smylie's book is incorrect.
best regards,
