University Training Corps cloth titles
Most interesting pair of cloth titles currently on E bay:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3516578273...84.m1436.l2649 ( I have no connection with the lot or seller ) The cloth title U.T.C. was worn by Universities when part of the University Training Corps which was the name adopted in 1948, the black on red title was introduced in December 1949. In 1955 the University units became OTC`s again and it appears that the titles being sold have been " updated " by the "U"`s in the titles being converted into "O"`s and presumably worn until cloth titles were introduced for the individual Universities. ( See article in Formation Sign issue 231 ) P.B.
