3rd VB Cheshire Reg badge info please ?

Hi there , recently i asked the forum for information on an identical badge that i aquired (two came amongst other badges ) but i intend to part with this one reason being the tip of the crown is missing and also i would like to know what your opinions are on it ie - how to make sure its 100% genuine and a sensible asking price for it also due to it being damaged.

Any help and advise would be much appreciated .
