Did any forum member bid on this ? I must admit I was intrigued by it and considered bidding but I wasn't convinced that it was genuine. The colour looks wrong ( I know that can be a trick of the light with the photo ) but I also thought it looked like a fairly crude cast copy of a die struck badge . On the other hand I've never seen a fake one before ( only ever seen one genuine one for that matter ) - if someone goes to the trouble of faking a badge you'd expect to see more on the market wouldn't you? I'd be interested to know if the successful bidder was happy on receipt of the badge? Tim

I was watching it but didn't bid on it as I'm more interested in the regular Gurkha regiments.

I am unsure about whether it was genuine, but I believe there were three bidders, so for the sake of the buyer I hope it is, as it didn't go cheap.
