Unknown Tri Service BAOR patch

Hi folks

Recently obtained this patch which I remember was an unanswered query in FS210

Any ideas as to what it is, might it be a sports badge?

Possibly a tri-service sports badge for British Forces Germany (BFG). This would entail personnel from BAOR, RAFG and British Naval Forces Germany (pre 1961). The crown would appear to be a tudor version (KC) which would seem to date the badge to the early 1950s.
