J.R. Gaunt maker marks

I'm aware that some J. Gaunt London maker marks are regarded as fake, specifically the 15 mm one with the dot between the Gaunt and London. How about a 15 mm long maker mark without the dot between Gaunt and London, legit or also fake? Many thanks,

White-metal Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry. Kipling and King 641
The infamous 15mm "Gaunt with a dot". Considered to be the mark of a large series of British badge restrikes produced in the 1970s. The important tell-tales are the full stop or period between the "T" of Gaunt and the "L" of London, and the length of 15mm. Not to be confused with the very similar mark without the full stop which is considered to be genuine, and the less frequently encountered "gaunt with a dot" mark shown on the right. J.R.GAUNT.LONDON 11mm
Royal Norfolk Regiment
The somewhat uncommon, but believed authentic, "Gaunt with a dot mark". This is a noticeably shorter mark than the restrike mark shown left.

No. The 15mm mark without the dot is considered good as is the 11mm mark with the dot. The large font 1950s J.R. GAUNT LONDON mark is also found on repros as is the ubiquitous 1970s J.R. GAUNT B’HAM mark.

Gaunt moved their operations to Birmingham in 1964 (or was it '63). The Lpl Irish officers badge had this mark - but only worn between 1964 to 1967. I know mine (in a laarge font) is genuine because i bought it from a military tailor's in Lpl.
