Default 4th Royal Irish Dragoon Guards

The auction is finished, but managed to save some pictures. Including a rear view, which I requested. Not convinced its an officer's badge.

It would seem to be an OR cap badge converted to a sweetheart by the addition of enamel and a brooch pin.

To me not worth as much as the cap badge it once was.

Yep it’s an OR badge converted, I thought it was a different badge in the first picture, but alas not.

It does look good though! But seen this on Ebay and I was confused on what was ramping up the price? £216 is way over the too for these!

It may not even be real enamel but more modern epoxy.

I never had my doubts , someone has been mugged off Hog spear was clever by not stating it was an officers cap badge .
