Default Changing to "King's Crown"

Cadet Briefing Note received yesterday confirming that dress regulations are currently being re-written to incorporate new rank badges, cap badges, buttons etc bearing the "Tudor Crown", aka the "King's crown". Looks like new badges are scheduled to be introduced this year.

Thank you Paul for this interesting information. I suppose that the easiest to convert will be the Royal Marines and any others that have the current QC as a separate part of their badges. And I guess it will take less time for every regiment and corps to receive the new ones given that there are less this time round. Interesting times ahead for collectors!
Best regards,
Ian

Paul,
Thanks, good to see firm instructions to prevent ‘private enterprise’ from taking the lead.

Interesting that there is no mention of the Army Dress Committee. They may need to meet and make decisions more often than their current twice a year!
