Default Any one else received the Kings Coronation Medal

I had mine presented on the 11th June 2024 By the Director General and CEO of HM Prison Service, those of us that took part in Operation London Bridge 16 of us and those that took part in Operation Golden Orb 22 were called together for a presentation.

The Presentation took place at HMPPS HQ Petty France London.

Most Prisons have now received their medals and and some are issuing this month, I was told there are approximately 15,500 KCM’s for HMPPS Staff.

36 years HMPPS and 3 Army so 39 years in uniform this year

Regards

Stephen

Excellent post timing - being presented mine this afternoon (late shift).

Those not willing to attend 'the do' can collect in person from the gaffer's secretary from monday.

Hope you're well mate.

Paul.

Not got mine yet, i'm told we'll be getting ours in September. Having said that I didn't get my Platinum Jubilee medal until 18 months after the event so not holding my breath.....

Yes, a couple of weeks ago, afforded in advance of the main drop within policing, as our national unit was involved in planning, delivery and ceremonial duties. Handed over by the head of the NPCC, which was a nice touch.

Love the ribbon design on this one, super colours/style match to the Union flag!

Cheers……John
