Default BERET INDUSTRIES LTD BLACK BERET TIME PERIOD

Can anyone say if this is late war or post war.Officers had private purchase ribbon instead of leather trim and its got the big letter small letter writing which is late war.I would like to put a badge on it but not sure if a kings crown or queens crown badge?
