Default Dorsetshire Regiment

Opinions on this one please - no sweat holes and a smooth back. The bi-metal finish seems slightly coated, perhaps an original unissued badge? Or a more recent fake?

Rather looks like a crappy but original ww2 era badge to me. The lack of braze holes is not a problem in most badges from this period.

CB,
Thanks, it looks good from the front! Came with the job lot of 35+ cap badges which included the 17 Londons small FSC badge and the 6th King’s (both good) and was the only one I had doubts over.
