Unknown Patch

I just acquired a wonderful collection of UN/NATO Patches from Kosovo and Bosnia. They are very well cataloged except this one.

Can anyone help please.

Hi David, unfortunately not known to me, it does however have a 'german feel' to it, i recall some of their units had unofficial patches. sorry can't help more. Regards Mark

The JSO (Serbian police SF) wore a red beret but their 'logo' was a snarling wolf's head, not a skull.

It's not one I recognise from any of the former warring factions and I spent more than my fair share of time in the Balkans. It also doesn't include either the Croat sahovnica (checker board) or Serb Cross with CCCC acronym (Samo sloga Srbina spasava - only unity will save the Serbs) which were pretty universal in those sides' heraldry. The UCK/KLA wore a black beret so I doubt its Kosovar Albanian either.
