Default British Security Coordination 2nd Pattern

I picked this up today at my local militaria shop. Both the seller and myself assumed it was a reproduction and priced accordingly. I donít imagine Iíll ever come across a real one! From what I understand this pattern was postwar and worn at reunions?

Dont know anything about when it was worn or why but I am confident that it is a genuine period badge.

Yup. Sir William Stephensonís. Iím in the process of getting out of the CAF Int reserves (weíre officially the Intelligence Corps again!) and he was our first Colonel-Commandant and from my home city so heís still a big figure for us.

If correct itshould have makers details to side of lug on right side...Scully I believe.
Not sure of present value , I paid three hundred and fifty for my example about eight years ago.
There were two types, believed worn by security at the base at camp X I believe.

Just took a close look and it does have the Scully mark! It’s hard to see with the tarnish and I can’t get a decent closeup with my iPhone camera, but it’s there.
