SWB Roll Anotation Question
Hi,
Whilst browsing through Ebay I noticed the sale of a SWB which the seller stated could be to do with a conscientous objector as the roll is anotated "C.O ex Cheshire Regt..." I've seen CO like this a couple of times on the roll, and also on medal rolls, and it never occurred it could mean this, does anyone know the correct meaning? Thanks Gary |

Hi
Thanks for the reply, thats what I thought, but its on the roll of a Private, which is what made me wonder about it. The seller thinks Conscientous objector but I am enclined to not think so, weren't they usually put in the RAMC or Labour Corps firstly, as opposed to regiments? |

Hi Paul, thanks for the reply. I have seen the CO before on rolls so I'm keen to learn if I've missed a trick in the past
