Default My Yorkshire Dragoons badges framed.

A forum member encouraged me to put this on the forum, a couple of badges need a bit of straitening out, but I can do that using the pins on the back,so here it goes, hope you like it..
Mounted on white felt, instead of the normal red, blue or black, I've decided to mount my badges with the Regiments facing colour, in this case, white, for the Yorkshire Dragoons.
A representation of badges that my Great Grandfather would have worn in his 9 years with, and in the Yorkshire Dragoons, from photos of him in various uniforms.
Brass YD shoulder title, blackened cap badge and brass button, from OR's service dress, from a photo taken around 1910 as an SSM instructor, instructors, even though still in their line Regiment, wore the badges and insignia of the Yeomanry Regiments they were attached to.
Bi metal cap badge and white metal button from the blues uniform.
Commissioned in 1914 into the Yorkshire Dragoons, OSD bronze cap badge, pair of OSD bronze collar badges, gilt large and small buttons, from his officers service dress.
Pair of silver plate QO entwined collar badges and silver plate button from the full dress uniform.
Best wishes all

Chris

Excellent display and love the idea of using the facing colors as the background.

Nice display - you have a little room so you could consider a nice later pattern Yorkshire Dragoons shoulder title in addition to the YD, cheers Dean

Thank you chaps.
I was thinking about putting my curved Yorkshire Dragoons title on there, but I kind of wanted to stick with what I have photos of him wearing.
I've got 3DG, 3rd Carabiniers and Scots DG to do now, all family related.
Cheers chaps

Chris
