Unfortunately I cannot sign as I am neither a British citizen nor resident in UK. The wryness is that dad served throughout the War in the RN and so I empathise with this petition, apart from utterly condemning the criminal actions against War Graves

Thank you one and all.
My son has put it onto Facebook and hopefully it will spread, with enough signatures coming through in time |

Same for me, I'm neither British nor residing in the UK, but having a Grandfather who served with the British Army in WW1, I fully support the initiative.
I recall the Australian and British servicemen discovered at Fromelles in France some 94 years after the 1916 battle there, who were exhaustively researched and largely identified then given a proper burial in a cemetery gifted in perpetuity by the still grateful French. Surely servicemen, no matter how long ago they gave their lives, deserve nothing less. Tim |

Reburial of British seamen
Just signed as well. This disgusting treatment sickens me - particularly as I'm ex-RN. Have passed on details to everyone I know.

Ray thank you for this post.
I have voted and posted your message on two other forums for others to see. Let's hope something is done. Keith

Almost a month after the opening post and I can't believe that only 3,146 people have signed. The total membership of this forum is 11,146 and whilst I accept that many members have crossed the bar or are no longer active and of course some are not eligible to voice their opinion, I think that 10,000 signatures should have been realised three weeks ago at the very least. Please, I urge you to sign if you already haven't and ask your neighbours, friends and colleagues to sign. Remember, the more people that are aware, the more chance of stopping this blasphemy. also, the problem is worse than you think.
