Default Pre Sale Id's, Values Advice Sought?

Hi Chaps,

A good friend of mine has asked for my assistance in selling his collection of insignia. There is a variety of badges, mostly special forces but also some US as well as British. I'm planning to offer this is small groups to aid in shipping cost and to make my life easier as I'm doing to help out an old friend and not making a penny.

I reasonably confident with with most pieces but felt it best to just throw out them all (in groups) for opinions and especially advice on what would be a fair price for individual items or the specific group.

All pieces shown here WILL be offered for sale on the forum first.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Group 1 as shown.

Cheers,

Roy

Hi Roy
The selection of insignia you show are you planning on selling them altogether or as individual items ? As I’d he interested in the plastic Reconnaissance Corp cap badge, fully understand if your planning to offer all up together just thought I’d adk

Hi Gerard,

Thanks for your interest.

Ideally I would prefer to sell these in small groups, this being 'group 1'.

As mentioned I'm doing this to help out a friend and I'm attempting to make it a little easier on myself as selling pieces one at a time will be both time consuming and costly in regards shipping (I'm in the US).

Although depending on interest, values etc I may be flexible on certain items.

Cheerio,

Roy

Sure will.

As mentioned I'm flexible depending on comments/pricing etc. So looking forward to any comments and help with in regards value of this group before I move on to the next grouping.

Just as a suggestion, seeing as you asked, perhaps you should group the badges with related items. For example, if I was an RAF collector and only wanted the wings, the rest of the items would stop me from making an offer, but if there were a few other RAF items rather than army badges, I might still be tempted?
Just a thought.
Cheers,
Alex

Thanks for that Alex.

I was hoping for assistance with valuations but as no one has made a single suggestion as yet I can't really move forward but will live in hope as it's early days.

Cheers,

Roy
