Other repro badgse for sale: http://www.ebay.com/itm/WW1-CEF-43rd...item3f53aea4d6
http://www.ebay.com/itm/WW1-CEF-17th...item3f53aea3e8 http://www.ebay.com/itm/68th-Battali...item3f537c082f There may be more, but it is difficult to tell from the images. All of these badges are the type that have been offered in the UK for some time. And there are some glaring issues. The 17th Bn was only issued in wm.

Different Canadian seller but I wouldn't touch these either:
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Machine-Gun-C...item5d5d03c9df http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Machine-Gun-C...item5d5d03c152 Poor quality castings, one brass and the silver one marked "Silver" another dead giveaway. Seller listed under "Original Period Items" and no indication they are wrong. |

Yes, another pair of bad badges.
About a year and a half ago I was offered a "collection" out of southern Alberta. Images were sent and it was a salted lot. Some good, some bad and some truly ugly. Now the bad badges are being offered from all quarters. One, especially new to CEF collectors need to be thoroughly educated.
