Default What's going on here???

Anybody got an explanation for this? Surely a Qatar badge can't be worth that much?

That seller often appears inconsistent ( to say the least ) with his pricing.

Clearly the seller has no idea what this badge is and just in case it is rare he has put a silly price on it. If it sells at that price he is happy. If it doesn't sell after a while or someone tells him what it is and what it's worth, he can then drop to a more sensible price.

'If in doubt over price' seems to be the motto of a lot of ebay sellers these days.

My mistake then! I couldn't read the picture very well (should have gone to Specsavers!) and thought it was a 'Buy it now' price!

Perhaps it is rare after all!

Sorry, I made the same mistake ( this seller does sometimes start his auctions at unrealistically high prices )

I think everyone should remember that ebay reaches customers all over the world. I'm sure a couple of rich collectors in Quatar could easily raise the price to this level. We should also remember that the pounds value has gone down against the US Dollar so it is cheaper to buy from the UK if you have a US Dollar account. Regards fred

If that really is the value I am delighted, but I'd have said about £7.50.

I often see equally ridiculous prices on quite common British badges but of course, as his said often on these pages , if it's one you particularly want you'll pay over the odds.

It is 'worth' whatever 2 people are prepared to pay for it at any given time.
It is called a free market (unless someone is 'running' it).
