1935 Royal Crest in Wreath Badge
Hello,
Bought this on ebay but dont know what it is. Large circular cloth badge, just over 4" across with a red Kings Crown Royal Crest in a red wreath all on an off white/cream backing with an old waxy paper backing. Attached to it by string is the label, "Cloth used on 28th May 1935". I was hoping that the colour combo and the date might mean something to somoene in order to identify it. Heres hoping. Thanks

Further internet searching and I now believe it to be the badge of the "Army Athletics Association".

Mik_Vee was on the right track then when he said the badge was similar to Army Athletics Association badges, unfortunately the link he provided is no longer valid.

Their Facebook page shows the lion in wreath as a full colour St Edwards Crown illustration.
