Queen's Own Rifles (Canada)
Hello All,
I came across a QOR badge today, that I just about bought. I however thought about it and decided to ask around before I put good money down. It is listed as a circa. 1910 it would appear to be an oversize collar dog, but smaller cap badge than the ones I have found before. If I was to venture a guess, I would say it is 1-1/2" to 1-3/4" across and slightly taller. It appears to to be aged silver with no maker's mark. The back shows green anodizing in the recess of the crown. What really made me stop was the crown! I expected either a Victorian Crown (Yes Edward-VII was in reign), or what I expect to be a King's Crown. This appeared to be a slightly different QC. Does anyone have a picture or maker's drawing of circa 1910 badge? Thanks in advance. Chris PS He was asking $55 Cdn and it was missing a lug. Good Deal or stay clear

If you check out under Current Projects, upper right hand corner of the forum page, and look at page 2 of the Canadian Expeditionary Forces. The second last row on the right shows a photo of the QOR Badge with 255 in the middle.
