106th Battalion
The officers version of this badge is a two peice badge White metal on what appears to be blackened brass or copper. These badges are clearly shown in the book "A Short History and Photographic Record of the 106th Overseas Battalion C.E.F. Nova Scotia Rifles" printed by The Mortimer Printing Co. Limited 1916. There is matching collars seen also in the photographs I have handled one that was in copper being over polished but do not have a example in my collection. I am attaching a photo of the badge and Lt.-Col. McInnes wearing his badges.
