Default Almeric Paget Massage Corps - (Yes Honestly)!

I thought I would share a badge I've only ever previously seen in Old Bosleys Auction Catalogues, the simple Crowned Monogram "PMS" for Paget's Massage Service.

Almeric Paget Massage Corps

An item which I never thought I would acquire, theses were fetching £150-200 in the late 1990's.

I always have to snigger whenever I hear of this badge/unit, it just sounds so wrong! (It always reminds me of the Monty Python sketch 'A massage from the Swedish Prime Minister').

But it is a nice badge and on the face of it not very common so well done on acquiring it Andy.

What's this about a big match tonight?????

Ivan

Ivan,
to be honest the ball is in your court, I have felt sick all day just in anticipation (Rugby is in our blood), we've been not good this past year and I think it's going to be a fantastic game (I hope so), take away ordered and beers chilled!

My gut feels England, but my heart WALES!

A gut feeling for England, hope its not a curry takeaway you've ordered!

I'm not normally a watcher of those who play with 'funny shaped balls' but I have to admit to being a bit fascinated by this particular match and am keen to see the outcome.

Just brought this and it was described as "Unidentified Military Badge - King's Crown" It is a PAGET'S MASSAGE SERVICE and it only cost me £67. Not bad for quite a hard to find badge and from a very well known dealer.
