Default Cloth Embroidered Insignia I like Royal Corps of Signals

Hi Team

I have added to my collection "Embroidered insignia I like", which really can encompass any embroidered insignia,RN, RAF, Auxilary, blazer patches etc..

These are literally outside my knowledge in a lot of cases.

So with that said I will be listing some embroidered insignia that I would like to know more information so I can document and database them.

This is a large work of art , Hand Embroidered/crochet(?).

The Royal Corps of Signals dates from 1946-1953 with the Tudor crown.

Mercury is padded and the dimensions are:230mm W x 250mm H x 5-8mm thick.

Such a beautiful detailed piece.

All opinions, annectdotes welcomed

cheers

Phill
