BERGEN-HOHNE was another training base for sure the Brits took over. The complex was enormous.I do not remember where the air field was in fact there was probably several grass strips around then .I know there was a large formation of 262s flying out of Parerborn late in the war so it was a prime target in itself.

There is an organisation that has lineage to the TENO, but the title of the organisation is less reminiscent these days of it's past. All I can think of is the BMZ: http://www.bmz.de/EN/ministry/index....9706aaff5cd526 Kr Marcus |

ACTUALLY the teno still operates as such the East Germans even kept the same main insignia and the west side still uses something similar but can't put my finger on it right now.

Not the TENO that was disolved in 1945, but a rose by another name that was insituted in 1950.
BMZ is a modern tangent and I was thinking external rather than internal per se (it was early in the morning over here) , and of course there's the THW: http://www.thw.bund.de/cln_036/nn_24...html__nnn=true |

Not a German item, but an Austro-Hungarian item - this other ranks belt has been "discovered" in the Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire Light Infantry Museum. I imagine it is quite rare?

Hi scarcer not rare looks like it had the makings of a true hate belt with the buttons of the enemy also attached and in this context rarer yes nice find would be interesting if there was provinence of the returned soldier.
